Day 3 : Hakodate to Onuma to Sapporo

Morning was damn bloody cold..... wind tunnels seemed to be present between every single building. Went to the fish market to have a look. People selling their and trying their best to sell to us. Language is definately a barrier here in the Northern part of Japan. But a smile and some effort, we still can communicate... plus a calculator.

Went to taste the potato of Hokkaido. SWEET even on its own.. plus the local butter.. DELICIOUS........ sometimes.. even the simplest food can brighten a wet and cold morning.

Since there is nothing much to do in Hakodate., we checked out early.

My thoughts on Hakodate...
A very quiet town with very friendly people. The night view on top of Mt Hakodate invokes a certain feeling of wonder and emotion. It is definately a MUST see in this town.
Seafood is definately VERY fresh and reasonably priced. No where in this world will you ever taste an urchin so fresh and squid sashimi whose tentacles are still moving when its served to you.

Now I am in Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido. I never felt so underdressed in my life...haha.. even for a place so up north, almost everyone is dressed to the nines.
